Who loves smoothies? I do know I do. A stunning Mexican mango was the inspiration for a flavorful, antioxidant-rich smoothie in my kitchen this week. In celebration of that significantly sunny shade of pink-orange-yellow present in mangoes, carrots, and citrus fruits, I whipped up a candy, fruity, vegan, gluten-free smoothie, spiked with a chunk of spicy ginger. This Mango Carrot Ginger Smoothie is full of vitamin C, vitamin A, and carotenoid compounds present in yellow-orange vegatables and fruits, that are linked to coronary heart well being.
I used a cara cara orange, which is a beautiful coral shade and oh so candy!I picked up these child carrots on the farmers market. Don’t waste your time peeling carrots, get pleasure from all of that fiber and vitamin occurring within the plant’s outer floor.
