We spent the weekend in Charlotte, NC with my sister and her household. Right here’s the recap!
Weekend in Charlotte!
FINALLY, after many rescheduled visits, we made it to Charlotte to go to my sister and her household!
The cousins have been tremendous excited to hang around, and I used to be tremendous excited to see Matt + Larbs’s new home and CHESTER!!

Bounce and Collide
As a shock for the youngsters, we bought a bounce home for the weekend. I’ve to say there have been equal quantities of crying toddlers and collisions at fun-filled hours, however total it was a great deal of enjoyable.

Dinner from Flower Little one
For dinner we ordered a family-style meal from Flower Little one.
Double Hassle
On Saturday morning we had a lightweight breakfast of cereal after which took the littles on a double stroller run! They had fun guffawing at one another. We ended the run on the playground for them to run round for a bit.
Lunch at Optimist Corridor
For lunch we joined the crowds at Optimist Corridor. My sister really useful we place orders on-line so we may shortly choose them up and keep away from the traces. Genius concept! We sat outdoors at Fonta Flora brewery and shared beers.
I had two tacos from Velvet Taco and a few chips and queso to share with the group.
Date Night time At Lincoln Road
My sister organized for his or her babysitter to return so the grown-ups may go on a date!! One other genius concept. We put the little youngsters to mattress earlier than leaving, after which headed to South Finish to Lincoln Road. On the way in which there we drove by my previous constructing the place I labored on the PR agency after I lived in Charlotte!
We snagged the final rooftop desk at Lincoln Road and loved sundown and metropolis views.

Jeni’s Ice Cream
After dinner we went to Jeni’s Ice Cream!! Tremendous lengthy line that was price it.
I had a trio of flavors – Gooey Butter Cake being my favourite.
Sunday Pancakes
Sister Yoga
Larbs took me to her favourite yoga studio, Khali Yoga Heart. We did an outside class that was very peaceable!
Acai Bowls
After yoga, we introduced dwelling acai bowls for lunch from Rico’s Acai.
Dinner at Heist Brewery
On our closing evening we ate at Heist Brewery. What a cool spot! And excellent for getting out child vitality. We shared a bunch of pizzas, apps, and salads.
Davidson School Go to
On our approach dwelling we went to Davidson School! I needed to indicate Thomas and Birch the campus (Mazen has been earlier than.) We did the grand tour with Uncle Matt and Emerson.
Milk Bread
After our tour, we had a scrumptious lunch at milkbread. Again after I lived there we had perhaps 3 eating places in the entire city 🙂
Cousin Time
We are going to miss our cousins playmates for now, however we are going to get to see them once more in just a few weeks on the seaside!
